Viral warts (laser option)

Viral warts are caused by HPV infection and may be difficult to clear, particularly when thick, painful or long-standing. When standard treatments such as cryotherapy or topical therapies are unsuccessful, laser treatment may provide an effective alternative.

When laser is considered

  • Recurrent warts despite multiple treatments
  • Thick or clustered lesions on hands or feet
  • Cosmetically sensitive areas

How laser works

Laser energy targets the blood supply to the wart, causing the tissue to break down so the immune system can clear the virus over time.

  • Useful for resistant warts
  • Precise treatment with minimal damage to surrounding skin
  • Short recovery time
